Barney Stinson- LEGEN wait for it DARY!

What up! Let me tell you about Barney Stinson. He wasn’t my favorite character in the TV sitcom How I Met Your Mother but now I understood him. Now I love him so much! Well he is played by Neil Patrick Harris who is so good in portraying the character.

Barney Stinson grew up with his mother and his brother who is a black gay. His mother made him believed that his father was Bob Barker, the host of The Price Is Right. When he was still innocent and idealistic man and he looked like a hippie I must say, he wanted to join the Peace Corps with his girlfriend Shannon. His girlfriend left him for some old man whose wearing suits and a womanizer too who would turn Barney into one. He was 23 years old when he loses his virginity to her mother’s friend Rhonda. He thought that he satisfied Rhonda so he turned into suit wearing womanizer. Suit up! And that became his line ever since. He had his own catch phrases that are just classic. I would be laughing hard every time he throws his lines. He is a geek as well. He loves to play Laser Tag. 

He had different nicknames sich as the Barnicle, Barnito Supreme, Broda. The most funny nickname he had was Swarley which he hated it. He had many aliases such as Ignatius Peabody Nobel, Jennifer and he even used Ted Mosby- Architect. Yes the name of his best friend.

He has his own blog which teaches guys how to get women, how relationship must not be serious and his laws such as Lemon Law and Platinum Rule. He even have his own Brocode which he violated by sleeping with Robin which is the ex-girlfriend of Ted which he considers his bestfriend.

He may turned out to be a (I hate to say it but it is.. what it is) total jerk but deep inside him he is a good and real friend. Let’s take an instance when Lily and Marshall had the big break-up. Lily left New York and went to San Francisco. Guess what Barney did.. Yes he followed Lily to San Francisco and convinced her to come back in New York. He said that he they look good as a couple inspite his disbelief on commitments. He believed that they are meant together. This was never known by Marshall until one time when he got mad with Barney and Lily told him the truth that it was Barney who tried and fix their relationship.

I still had three episodes left to watch in Season Three so I still haven’t known much about Barney. Now he is my favorite character in How I Met Your Mother. I’ll be talking about him as soon I’ve finished Season Six. LEGEN wait for it… keep on waiting.. DARY!
